Created with intention, each of our handmade Ceremonial Tea blends are mindfully sourced from artisanal small farms to which we have a direct relationship. Each luxurious tea we blend is rich in depth, balanced in flavor & offers a cornucopia of magical wellness benefits with every sacred sip.
Magic Hour is a woman-owned tea company founded by master tea blender and ceremony keeper Zhena Muzyka. The brand creates premium wellness teas and tea rituals designed to bring healing, connection, and intention into everyday life. Magic Hour works with artisan growers, regenerative farms, and fair trade partners around the world.
How does Magic Hour create its tea blends?
Founder and tea blender Zhena develops blends with her muses in mind - the customers of Magic Hour. Her recipes may be inspired by dreams, recipes, cocktails, or healing ingredients and combine flowers, teas, herbs, spices, adaptogens, and essential oils. The blends are also infused with Reiki and a prayer for the tea drinker.
Are Magic Hour teas third-party tested?
Yes, all of our teas undergo rigorous third-party testing to ensure they meet the highest standards for quality, purity, and safety. We proudly hold certifications for each blend, so you can sip confidently, knowing that our teas are crafted with care and integrity.
How and where does Magic Hour source its teas?
Our teas are cultivated, harvested, and blended from soil to cup with the Magic Hour Rule of Love. The base of our teas is grown in the tea estate where I was married :)! The exquisite buds are grown and harvested by our friends in a garden that touches the sky at the top of the mountains in the high-country of Sri Lanka. The pristine Idulgashinna Bio Tea Garden’s perched above a wildlife preserve. It was the first tea garden to become certified Biodynamic and organic in the world, it’s home to our family of farmers and growers whose respect towards nature and one another has become the gold standard of tea estates all over the world. We also source from small organic family gardens in Taiwan, Rwanda, India, Yunnan, Kyoto and Kagoshima, Japan.
Does Magic Hour use organic and regenerative farming practices?
Magic Hour prioritizes certified organic ingredients and works with organic, regenerative, and Biodynamic farms. These farming practices are intended to protect the purity of the tea, support healthy soil, and contribute to more sustainable growing and harvesting practices.
What does ethical direct trade mean at Magic Hour?
Magic Hour builds direct relationships with many of its farmers and pays the prices required to support their soil, families, and communities rather than negotiating those prices down. These relationships help support resources such as education, healthcare, childcare, mental health services, maternity leave, and housing in tea-growing communities.
