I’m SO excited to share this Sri Lankan breakfast tea with you, and of course because I love cake, I melded Biodynamic tea leaves from Sri Lanka with a traditional cake recipe from the land of paradise! Roses, Cardamom, Cinnamon, and Love all blend into a gentle, nourishing and heart-opening tea that is intended to help you enter a state of self-kindness and connection: it’s a potion that harmonizes your heart with the very heart of the divine.
Our inspiration came from the heart of this special place, where we've carefully melded Biodynamic tea leaves with a traditional cake recipe, infusing the tea with the flavors of roses, cardamom, cinnamon, and, of course, a touch of love. This harmonious fusion creates a gentle, nourishing, and heart-opening tea, designed to foster self-kindness and a deeper sense of connection. With every sip, we aim to transport you to the very heart of Sri Lanka, allowing you to experience its magic and savor the harmony it brings to your soul.
Idulgashinna Sri Lankan Black Tea
Black tea contains a group of antioxidants called theaflavins and thearubigins, which have been associated with improved cardiovascular health. These compounds may help reduce LDL cholesterol levels, support healthy blood pressure, and promote better heart function. Additionally, its natural polyphenols have shown potential anti-inflammatory properties, contributing to overall well-being.
Nutmeg contains essential oils, including myristicin, which may have antibacterial properties. Nutmeg has traditionally been used to aid digestion and alleviate nausea. It may also have mild sedative effects, making it a popular choice in relaxation-inducing drinks, such as warm milk with a sprinkle of nutmeg before bedtime.
Beyond their soothing aroma and aesthetic appeal, rose petals have been traditionally used in herbal remedies for their calming properties. They may help reduce stress and anxiety, promoting emotional well-being. Additionally, rose petals contain natural antioxidants that can combat free radicals, potentially reducing the risk of chronic diseases and supporting overall health.
