One of our favorite and wildly rare teas is GABA oolong from Taiwan, with a delicious and impeccably smooth character on the palate. The leaves are processed in anaerobic conditions (without oxygen), utilizing nitrogen to increase the GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid) levels in the tea exponentially. GABA tea is known to alleviate excitability and calm the nervous system with its anti-anxiety and anti-stress effects. It can also support feelings of depression, quell symptoms of insomnia, and reduce high blood pressure.
Green Tea
This blend includes Cloud Mist Supreme Green Tea, a rare, floral green tea from high altitude--one that perfectly expresses the mist-strewn regions of wild-grown spring harvest tea leaves. Cloud Mist Supreme piques the palate and lends an air of innocence and youth to the more wise GABA oolong. We also blend in Mao Feng Green Tea, another favorite spring green that harmonizes the base of this blend.
