DAWN OR DUSK:  Sip this tea at dawn to open your heart and to set a loving tone for the day, with or without your lover and with or without milk & honey. At dusk, this tea may be sipped to reflect on the beauty of the day, counting the rose petals as you count your blessings. Gratitude begets gratitude. The leaves are so vital, they may be steeped up to four times, each sacred steeping will open softer nuanced flavors to your palate and your heart chakra.

SACRED STEEPINGS: This original Gypsy Tea blend is heightened by mindful steeping. Bring fresh spring or filtered water to a rolling boil, pour over a heaping teaspoon of loose leaves per cup. Steep for 3-5 minutes and strain. After four steepings, please add the leaves to your garden or a potted plant so that nature may continue its circular ceremony.

HEALTH BENEFITS: Rose tea has been used medicinally in China for over 5,000 years. Each fragrant sip offers a lush bouquet of vitamins A, C, and E, enhancing inner and outer glow. The luxurious flower has been used in ancient Indian medicine for thousands of years for the healing effect it has on the heart, digestion, and in beautifying the skin from the inside out. Roses are high in antioxidants quercetin and ellagic acid, which contribute to bright, lucid skin, and a happy heart.

AROMATHERAPY BENEFITS: Rose is classically used to relieve stress and anxiety in aromatherapy circles. Close your eyes and inhale deeply, feel the aromas envelop your mind with a deep sense of peace. Sensually speaking, scent of rose enhances romance by relaxing your muscles, invoking your sensual nature, and allowing your heart to expand in easeful and gentle coherence.

GLOBAL TRADITION: Pink wild roses are the root of all cultivated roses that exist today. The light pink roses in our spring 2019 vintage Gypsy Rose tea symbolize loving and kind gentleness and help to heal sadness or overwhelm. Give or serve Gypsy Rose to show your admiration and appreciation. With each sip, name something you are grateful for in your life to bring more blessings your way.

MAGIC HOUR TRADITION: Close your eyes and envision your heart as a green glowing beam of light. Breathe in and out of your heart allowing it to receive your loving attention and as you exhale, release any sorrows from the past that may still linger. As you breathe in and out of your heart, allow it to connect to those you love, then the animal kingdom, then those you do not know, and with the next breath beam that green vital light to those you may not like, yes, even them. From there envision your glowing green heart chakra expanding until it holds the whole world in its warm connecting embrace. Gypsies are a people who do not see any one country as their home, but the whole world as their home, this is how your heart sees the world too. Allow that wisdom to fill you with compassion and love now.
