  • "This tea feels like it was made with Love."

I was excited to try this one, because I love chai teas. This one is amazing from first sniff when you open it. It's a mix of yummy coconut and warm spiciness that's mouth watering! I wish I could have this scent bottled up.

  • "Favorite Tea Ever"

I am so in love with this chai tea. I am addicted. My mouth literally starts watering as soon as I smell its coconuty goodness brewing. A splash of oat milk turns it into a satisfying, creamy delight.

Zhena's Blending Notes

Coconut Chai is prized by lovers, friends and families as it makes any simple moment a celebratory event and creates a sacred space for meditation, sharing, or reading a novel while curled up on a winter morning.

The History of Chai

For thousands of years, spiced chai has been imbibed in homes on every street, temple and ashram in India. The blend of warming spices and rich black tea are usually boiled directly in milk, then strained, sweetened and served in clay cups. It is a social tea and every family in India has their very own special blend, and most families use it as a form of potent Ayurvedic medicine.

Chai Traditions

Chai is served to visitors on beautiful trays as a sign of hospitality, or sipped among close friends and family for lively and enchanting storytelling. Chai is a medicinal Ayurvedic blend of spices and tea leaves traditionally used to energize and warm relationships. The lively spices bring vital energy to conversation and sharing. While traveling in India or Sri Lanka, chai stalls are the gathering places of communities. Chai is as individual as the chai maker, which in Indian culture is often the grandmother. As she imparts her wisdom, the spices open the mind to receive. For lovers, chai brings sweet breath and kind words to your lips.

Steeping Instructions

Steep 1 teaspoon in freshly heated 212 degree spring or filtered water for 3-5 minutes. Strain, sweeten as desire and enjoy!

    Best Chai Ever!

I have had many different chai teas from around the world, but Zhena's is my favorite by far! I was afraid it was gone when i could no longer find the tins at my local organic grocer, and was elated to discover it under Maguc Hour! The flavors are the perfect combination of spice with the smoothness of coconut. I love this with a generous dollop of heavy cream. It's delicious as a dessert tea, and a lovely tea to enjoy while curled up with a good book. In addition to it being an amazing tea, the presentation and packaging make Magic Hour tea an excellent gift. It really is the most beautiful packaging! Plus they included a sample of a pleasant new tea for me to try. I am looking forward to making Magic Hour teas part of my gift giving ritual. I wish I had taken a photo of the packaging it arrived in. I intend to get my friends and family hooked on these truly special teas!

    Love the Coconut

I wasn't sure if I would like this because chai and I don't always get along, but I have to say I look forward to reordering this time and time again. I enjoyed it so much I had to share it with a bunch of friends.

    Mama Mia

I am from Puerto Rico and coconut is a staple in our gastronomy! Love is the word I use to express how I feel about this tea. I actually look forward to waking up just to drink it. I do combine it with Bohemian Breakfast. Great way to start my day!! I start with this then continue to drink the herbal teas throughout the day!
