Four days ago I was climbing into the King’s Chamber in the Great Pyramid, chanting as Dr. Dee guided us through a rebirth initiation. Today I’m back in the tea salon. I genuinely don’t know what happened in between!
Thirty-seven of us went, many from Magic Hour joined!
We started at the Sphinx and worked our way down the Nile, temple by temple, each one holding a different energy center. Private visits at every one. Dr. Dee led us through deep transformations as we attuned to the temples and the chakras they rule.
I came home and have been in a daze of deep trance and awe—waking at 2am for tea as if I am still on the Nile!
A fun contrast was that this time I provided tea bags instead of loose tea and the entire crew on the Nile boat cheered when they saw the tea bags—last year they had a hard time steeping the loose tea for 30+ tea drinkers!
We were up at 2 and 3am most days to reach the temples by sunrise — and this year, we were able to take our to go mugs and a tea bag in hand! Hallelujah for our new tee ritual to go!
By the end of the week we’d run out of tea completely. I had to refill the jars daily which was so fabulous and of course it was Bohemian Breakfast for the win as usual!
I’ve been a loose leaf purist for twenty-five years. I’m converted! Some rituals need to travel with you.
More soon — the photos, the chanting, the real story. Something shifted over there, and I think it’s about to shift this whole season.
