Make Your Own Magic Hour Tea Cocktails (or Mocktails!) With These Delicious Recipes

If you're looking for a new, refreshing way to experience your tea, we've got a variety of fun recipes to turn your favorite Magic Hour blends into delicious, mystic cocktails (or mocktails!) Here's a collection of our celebratory recipes (and how-to videos), to enjoy as an adults-only treat or a family-friendly refresher for any occasion. Magic Hour is the new Happy Hour ;) Cheers! 

Ruby Moon Sangria

  • 1 Bottle Sauvignon Blanc
  • ½ cups sweetener of choice
  • 10oz Strongly Steeped Ruby Moon (about 2 Tablespoons)
  • Juice of 2 Limes
  • Juice of 1 Blood Orange
  • Sliced Citrus for garnish
  • Sparkling water

-In the steeped Ruby Moon, add sweetener and stir until dissolved – set aside to cool.

-In a large pitcher filled with ice add the Sauvignon Blanc, fresh juices, and sliced citrus.

-Once tea is cooled, add to pitcher and top with sparkling water.

-In lieu of wine add extra sparkling water for a refreshing mocktail.

Strawberry Matcha Forever

  • 1oz Strawberry Syrup
  • 1/2oz lemon juice
  • 1 heaping bamboo scoop of Ceremonial Matcha whisked into 1 ½ oz hot water
  • Champagne

-In your glass with ice layer first the strawberry syrup, lemon juice, matcha, and top with champagne.

-Substitute champagne with sparkling water for a mocktail.

- Strawberry Syrup: Blend 10-12 ripe strawberries until smooth and strain out seeds. In a small saucepan combine strained strawberries with ½ cup sweetener of choice and ½ cup water. Bring to a boil and let simmer for approx. 10 min or until syrup is thick enough to not run off the back of a spoon.

Butterfly Blue Lemonade

  • 1oz lemon juice
  • 2oz strongly steeped Butterfly Pea Flower (about 2 tablespoons)
  • 2oz vodka of choice
  • 1oz lavender syrup

-In a cocktail shaker combine steeped butterfly pea flower, lemon juice, lavender syrup, and vodka and ice. Shake vigorously.

-Strain into a tall glass with ice.

-Garnish with Lemon slice.

-Substitute vodka with sparkling water for mocktail

-Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan combine 2-3 tablespoons dried lavender, ½ cup sweetener of choice, and ½ cup water. Bring to a boil and stir until sweetener is dissolved. Allow to simmer for a few moments and cut heat. Let cool and then strain.

Mantra Mint Mojito

  • Fresh mint
  • 1oz lime juice
  • 2oz white rum
  • 1oz Mantra Mint syrup
  • Sparkling water

-In a cocktail shaker take mint and muddle with 1 oz of Mantra Mint Syrup (save some mint for your garnish)

-Add the lime juice and white rum. Shake vigorously.

-Strain into a tall glass with ice, then top with sparkling water.

-Take a piece of your saved mint and give it a smack to open up the aroma, use for garnish.

-Substitute Rum with extra sparkling water for a mocktail.

-Mantra Mint Syrup: In a small saucepan combine 2-3 tablespoons Mantra Mint, ½ cup sugar, and ½ cup sweetener of choice. Bring to a boil and stir until sweetener is dissolved. Allow to simmer for a few moments and cut heat. Let cool and then strain.

Citrine Bee's Knees

-In a cocktail shaker combine gin, honey syrup, and lemon juice. Shake vigorously.

-Strain into a rocks glass with a large cube.

-Garnish with a lemon slice and or edible flowers.

-Citrine Cleanse Honey Syrup: In a small saucepan combine 2-3 tablespoons Citrine Cleanse, ½ cup honey of choice, and ½ cups water. Bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for a few moments and cut heat. Let cool and then strain.

Bohemian Alexander

Note: This recipe makes 2-3 Cocktails

  • 2 tablespoons Bohemian Breakfast steeped in 1 ¾ cup boiling water.
  • ¾ oz dark chocolate syrup
  • 4oz Gin
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream or cream alternative—we love Coconut Cream and Almond Milk Creamer!

-In a cocktail shaker combine steeped Bohemian Breakfast, heavy cream, dark chocolate syrup, and Gin. Shake vigorously.

-Strain into Martini glasses and garnish with cinnamon sticks and chocolate shavings.
