In general, I love nearly every tea I have purchased through Magic Hour but none of them have the signature bright blue color like those in the Blue Moon Beauty Collection. So, I decided to make the purchase. I have tried only one of the teas (Orange Blossom Moon) in this specific collection so far and although the flavor was brilliant and lovely, the color was more like green pond water than the lovely blue shown on website videos and photos. Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed. Generally speaking, the color of a tea is not important to me when making a purchase— flavor and the integrity of ingredients being first and foremost on my list—but I will admit to being captivated by the blue color of these teas. I think perhaps my expectations for the color of the blue teas may have been too high. I will continue to drink my way through the collection and may leave an additional review after I have sampled them all.

It's Thomas from Magic Hour! I find that bottled spring water is the best for bringing out the beautiful color! Water with a lot of mineral can change the color and make it less vibrant.

The aroma, flavor, and of course the color of each of these is divine. Just when I think Persimmon Moon is my favorite, I change my mind when I have a cup of Honeysuckle Moon. Then I change my mind again when I become intoxicated with my first sip of Orange Blossom Moon. Then I have a latte made from Blueberry Lavender Moon or a warm, spicy, nourishing cup of Solstice Moon and I am undecided again. These are ALL SO VERY DELICIOUS 🌙 I recommend you compare and contrast them for yourself-it’s such a decadent pleasure 🌙

Yes, yes it can. I am glad I purchased this collection. First, if you do not have a clear teapot, I highly recommend that you buy one for this collection if for no other reason. I simply love watching it brew! All the teas have different properties and some are more fragrant than others which I love. Watching the color bloom in the pot, being surprised by the aroma when you pour it in your cup, then that first sip is indeed a beautiful experience.
