    She’s done it again! I don’t know how our magical tea goddess has managed it, but this tastes just like the Persian love cakes I remember from childhood. I never did get the recipe, and it’s been 30 years or more since we last spoke with those neighbors, but this tea sent me straight to afternoons in their living room, enjoying the smallest slices of heaven, with memories of hunting around the plates for even a crumb to get one more hit of the flavor combo. What is a Persian Love Cake? 

Once upon a time in ancient Persia a beautiful young woman fell madly in love with a prince who was unattainable to her “station” in life. Instead of letting her deep feelings of love go unrequited, she baked a magical love cake with Roses & Pistachios in hopes to make him fall in love with her. After receiving the cake from the beautiful stranger, he fell deeply in love with her after just one bite. This tea will bring you the same magical experience with love at first sip.

    The perfect tea.

    Rose, pistachio and decadent vanilla tea cake! All of my favorite things. Once again, Zhena has created pure magic! I take my tea with cream and sugar, and like to add either rose powder, or rose water to enhance the rose flavor. It’s especially beautiful with foamed milk and dried rose petals on top.
